1. First thing to do is to figure out the reasons why you're writing your articles. What are your objectives? Are you writing them to gain expert status in your chosen niche? Are you going to use them to build links for your website? Or perhaps you would like to use them to help your readers. Well, whatever it is that push you to write your articles, it's important that you identify and establish them. Doing this can help you make the whole thing well-guided and your articles more focused.
2. Know your audience. Who are the people that you're writing for? Why would they want to read your articles? What are their needs and demands? What is their age and profession? What are their common problems and burning questions? As a writer, it crucial that you know the people who'll read your articles. The more you know about them, the easier it will get for you to produce articles that they will surely appreciate.
3. Choose your topics. This will get easier if you know what your target audience would want to know about. I suggest that you talk about their problems and those things that are aligned to their areas of interest. These topics will surely help you capture the attention of these people. If you're selling something online, make sure that your topics are aligned to your products and services so you can easily pitch in your offerings after you have successful informed your readers.
4. Offer high quality content. Give your readers what they deserve by making sure that your articles are of high quality. They must be filled with useful, refreshing information and they must be organized and well-written.
